Roofing Alliance—Ronald McDonald House Charities® Partnership

We want to highlight and thank some of our RMHC® partners.

Team members from West Roofing Systems Inc., LaGrange, Ohio

“West Roofing performed work for us. We have a large and challenging roof. Over two days, they replaced some damaged flashing, cleaned all of the gutters and downspouts and gave us the thorough ‘well check.’ We passed! “One of the roofing workers, Jeremy Hensley (right) stayed at the house back in 2014 when his daughter was born and was a patient at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. He is happy to report his daughter is doing great and he had an opportunity to give back to a place that gave so much to his family when they most needed it.” —Nathan Enzerra, communications manager for Ronald McDonald House® of Cleveland.

CentiMark Corporation, Canonsburg, Pa., donated toys to the Toddler Playroom at the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh.
Eagleview National Sales Meeting, Bellevue, Wash., panel: Callen Carpenter (Chief Revenue Officer), Bill Good, Fred Hill and Piers Dormeyer

Former NRCA CEO Bill Good and Fred Hill, former Philadelphia Eagles tight end and part of the team responsible for starting Ronald McDonald House Charities, were part of a panel discussion hosted by Roofing Alliance member Eagleview Technologies in early February.

Fred recounted how the Eagles helped to raise funds for what was to become the first Ronald McDonald House® in Philadelphia after his daughter, Kim, was diagnosed with leukemia at age 4. And Bill reported how all 165 free-standing Ronald McDonald House programs in the U.S. have been adopted by Roofing Alliance and/or NRCA members, providing more than $500,000 worth of repairs and replacements to date.

Eagleview Technologies has donated its roof reports to all 165 Houses and the adopting contractors and contributed directly, with money and labor, to the House in Rochester, N.Y. The company is exploring ways to become even more involved! Click here for more photos from the National Sales Meeting.

“On behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York, Inc., thank you so much for your very generous donation. Our House was built in 1895 and we work very hard to keep it in good condition for our guests.” Click here to read the full letter from Lynn Hughes, director of operations.
